A Day of Gifts

Today was eventful.  We started at 4:30a.m. R.J. and Kate left for home, R.J. starts school on Friday and has an interview, Kate has finals and graduation on Sat.  Good luck R.J. and hope the offer is great. Congrats Katers we love you and are very proud of you.   O.K. on to Tim, the doctors started arriving around 6:00 a.m. and continued until about 3:30, oh my gosh I was tired I can't believe Tim made it through it all.  He was taken to dental today and had all his teeth fixed.  He made it around 1/2 of the 5th wing..  Respiratory for treatments, staples removed from his stomach took some cool pictures Tim was loving it he is such a ham.  I just love that boy.  In between all of this the organizations that are so involved with the Wounded Warriors can not think of all of them but will list later for many thanks.  Tim received an abundance of gifts today, gifts cards, phone cards, CDs, Nintendo DS and two games which by the way he gave to his favorite Corpsman for his son.  How sweet.  A Leather Vest and patch and sticker for his bike (over my dead body).  We finally put a note on the door saying no visitors.  He was able to shower and sleep, which he really needed.  Also he had a phone interview with the Modesto Bee, I sent pictures to them and hopefully you can open your morning paper drink yourcup of coffee and read about my beautiful son

Will keep you updated,
Vicki

  1. Corporal Waldron,

You don't know me, but I am a friend of Kim Siegfried, a cousin to one of your parents. She shared your misfortune with me.

Though you don't know me, I know you. You are one of the brave young men that have volunteered into the U.S. M.C. Undoubtedly the best fighting service the world has ever seen (I realize some families of soldiers in the Army may disagree, but they are wrong.). You have given up a portion of your prime years so that I and all Americans can feel secure and have the lifestyle we all know here in the States. I want to commend you for all of your efforts on our behalf. I am glad that President Obama was able to visit with you and thank you in person. I wish I could thank you in person too.

I want you to know that there are many, many people who are appreciative of your bravery and efforts for our Country and they are pulling for you. You are and will be in many American's prayers tonight and hereafter. May God bless you, your parents and family. We do appreciate the sacrifice you all have made for us.

  3. Hi Tim. I don't know you, but was told about your site through a friend of yours. I wanted to first say thank you for your service! Also I wanted to let you know I will be praying for your recovery and for your family. I hope you don't mind, but I'm also going to post on my blog about you was well. I think it's very important for others to put real faces to the sacrifices our military members, and their families, are making. Take care of yourself. I hope you get well soon!!

  5. hey tim, this is the Moulder family-living aboard Camp pen,ca. my husband Sgt.Moulder just retrned with clb5 in late march to meet our firstborn child for the first time @ five mons. our biggest fear was that he would never meet her,he assured me (as all you guys tend to tell us wives) 'its all ok, it's ot that bad'.. i know different, and i know how fortunate we are, he goes back soon..and he'll be thinking of you everytime he goes outside the wire im sure... he tells all his boots (when he takes them to check-in places on base) while stopping the car randomly at del mar, 'look..you see who that building is named after...Lcpl or Cpl so and so" he goes on to tell them how it the junior Marines that get the recognition, because you guys usually do the heroic things and dont make it up in the ranks... but you Tim, you are so furtunate, and WE are so VERY proud of you. remember pain is weakness leaving the body, and that what you're going through is not in vein. My husband and his fellow Marines are thinking of you and praying for a quick and through recovery. who knows ... maybe our paths will cross one day. until take care of yourself and remember we all LOVE our men in uniform, Especially the FEW THE PROUD -Semper FI

You are continually in my prayers. My son in Alpha Company also asked us to pray for you. You have a lot of moms out there rooting for you and Sgt Peters.

I know the toughest part of recovery is going to be in the next few weeks and months following, so I will be especially praying for you during those times as well.

    Blessings, Karen : )

  17. Tim,

I e-mailed your mom today because I looked and looked and could not find where to post at first. Hummmmmmm Ahhhhh, at the bottom of the page I discovered the missing clue. I spoke with your mother a few days before Memorial day in Modesto. I met your mother and father about a year ago at Bible Study when my son was still in boot camp. I believe at that time you were getting ready for deployment. I had not seen them for a while and when I did, on that day, I asked about you, where you were and how you were doing now. Your mom told me you were "in Somolia fighting pirates". Ahhh, the Marines vs. the pirates. The thought of it....Jack Sparrow would be running matey. I was asking about you as my son is also a Marine and he is currently in Afghanistan. It was a few days later that my mother-in-law shared with me your injuries. She attends the same church as your mom and dad. I just want to thank you so much for your sacrifices and for your great service to our country. I have been praying for you everday for a speedy recovery and I am praying for your mom and dad that they will have strength for each day and good comfort in all of your medical care. I know that God is on your side. Please know that Marine moms, dads, wives, girlfriends, friends, buddies and fellow Marines everywhere are right there with you cheering you back to good health. Wow, Obama was a lucky man to meet you, one of our finest!!! Take care and God speed in your recovery. We are very proud of you and understand first hand the pride your parents have in you. May God Blees you and your family.
